As parents, we want to remember every little moment of our children’s lives; we want to freeze time.  But our kids grow so quickly, and we can’t rewind the clock. That’s why our mission is to do the next best thing…to capture the different stages of a family’s life through our beautiful family portrait photography.  We love creating artistic photos of your family and children–images that capture the *twinkle* in their eyes.  With our intimate knowledge of the best photo locations in the area, we create family portraits that you’ll love for a lifetime.

Child Portraits

Child Portraits are special – especially when you realize how fast they grow and change. These sessions capture the moments, personality and character of your kids in the seasons that change so quick. Whether it is a group shot or a individual portrait of your son or daughter, KW takes the time to make sure we get it right, we get it memorable. It really is about making memories that last a lifetime.

Kids Photography

Oh those kids… Ask most parents about taking pictures of their own kids and watch the expression.  Truth is there really isn’t a formula for kids photography. Every child is different and responds differently to photography sessions. What is the constant is patience, creativity and the ability to wait for the unexpected. Some of the best portraits come from the candid process. With young kids it takes time for them to play a little bit and get comfortable around the camera. It takes engaging them and making them feel like they are a part of the process.

The packages below are only basic plans. If you have something different in mind or have a particular budget to work with, we will work with you to create an ideal package that fits all of your needs.

*Locations 30 miles outside of Frederick County are subject to an additional charge of $50.00

All portrait packages include:

  • All Digital Photography
  • Color and Black & White Photography
  • Digital Enhancements
  • Custom USB loaded with your photos with a full copyright release
  • A private web gallery, password protected, for making your selection and ordering professional prints – your images will be ready to view, share with friends and family within a few weeks, often much sooner

In addition to the session, editing is included.  After editing, you will receive the images through a private online gallery for viewing your photos, playing a slideshow, downloading the digital files to your computer, and ordering products through our professional lab. The online gallery is also a great way to share your photos with family and friends!

So you can print your images, post on social media, and use your images however you’d like, we provide a copyright release. We also offer a variety of affordable prints and products as well as graphic design and printing for holiday cards and more! Contact us for more info and to set up a product consultation.

Session times cannot be split into separate days unless agreed upon in advance.  Typically, 1/2 down is due at the time of booking with the remaining balance due the day of the session.

30 Minute Session: $120

  • A 30-minute portrait session on location anywhere in Frederick County, or further if agreed on in advance, or in your home (with my portable studio).
  • Professional editing with 10-20+ final images to view and order from.
  • Look your very best with professional hair and makeup from an amazing cosmetologist for an additional: $150.

  • A 45-minute portrait session on location anywhere in Frederick County, or further if agreed on in advance, or in your home (with my portable studio).
  • 2 clothing changes
  • Professional editing with 20-30+ final images to view and order from.
  • Look your very best with professional hair and makeup from an amazing cosmetologist for an additional: $150.

  • Unlimited clothing changes and props
  • Professional editing with 30-50+ final images to view and order from.
  • Look your very best with professional hair and makeup from an amazing cosmetologist for an additional: $150

 Our professional hair and makeup stylist will have you looking your best with a complete hair and makeup session, at your chosen location, or in the comfort of your own home.

 

REPRINTS AND ENLARGEMENTS

 Our professional prints, books, and wall collections come in many sizes and styles.  We offer a full line of professional enlargements, custom books, canvas wall prints, posters, framing, greeting cards, digital files, and much more for purchase.  Rather than forcing you to buy a complicated package in sizes and quantities you don’t want, we simply give you a discount on exactly what you want to purchase.
